a lot of times, when I already have an idea in my head for a painting- like if it were inspired by the world around me or an experience I had- I search for the perfect song to keep the momentum going. The feeling I had when the idea was first born needs to stay lit like a fire inside of me. That’s why you’ll see some of my pieces are “Influenced by” instead of “Inspired by”. Either way, music always plays an important role in any piece I create.
